Headed towards the Gold Coast.There was a lot of rain the previous couple of days and the rain was heading south (The direction we were heading).
The beaches were all throffed up from the big waves and fresh water mixing with the sea water...
Then down to Tweed heads for fish and chips for lunch...
Not the best fish n Chips.Then off to Byron Bay..
Here is the Byron Bay light house...
We continued south for a bit more and found a road had been flooded so we crossed it anyway...
It was about 300 meters across but it was still able to be navigated.There were big floods in the area.
This was Grafton where they were evacuating thousands of people...
A heap of cattle being relocated...
Got into Coffs Harbour that evening where we had dinner and went to motel...
